Scott Phillips

Scott has been involved in Arizona real estate in one way or another since 1998.  He moved to Surprise, Arizona in 1998 to work as a planner for the City of Surprise.  Over the next three years, Scott worked his way through the ranks to become the Planning Manager of one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States.  He helped guide growth and assure quality design and development throughout the city.

 

In 2004, Scott started with Rick West and Carefree Partners Investments, L.L.C., working on a variety of development projects, including the emerging downtown in Surprise, THE CITY at Surprise, and the Goodyear AirPark project immediately adjacent to the Phoenix-Goodyear Airport.  He is responsible for working through the entitlements process, including zoning, development agreements, and site planning; working with tenants on ground leases, space leases, or land purchases; and representing the ownership in joint venture relationships and construction projects.

 

Scott has been involved in various organizations over the years, including ULI, Lambda Alpha International, Leadership West, the City of Peoria Design Review Board, and AICP, among others.  He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Arizona and a designated broker and owner of a small brokerage company, Mission West, LLC.  He is married to Traci and has three daughters.
