Rico has been involved in the real estate development business his entire life. As the son of Carefree Partners Investments founder Rick West, he would join his father every weekend growing up looking at new land purchasing opportunities and help master plan projects Carefree Partners Investments were working on at the time.

Rico joined Carefree Partners Investments full time in 2018 as a development associate rising to the current role of Principal and Business Development Manager. Rico is instrumental in evaluating new purchasing opportunities, negotiating contracts and leases, handling investor relations, and stewarding the entitlement/rezoning process.

Rico was raised in Paradise Valley, AZ and attended Notre Dame Preparatory High School in Scottsdale. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2016 with a BS in General Studies. Rico is a licensed real estate salesperson in Arizona as well.
